Let’s Hygge: Creating Cozy Moments for Autumn Bliss

Let's take advantage of this beautiful autumn season to focus on our well-being. Reserve your spot today, and share with a friend!

What Even Is "Hygge"?

Hygge is a type of activity or ritual where one can find enjoyment and comfort in life's simple pleasures.

Hygge is a Danish word (pronounced "hue-gah") that comes from a Scandinavian work meaning "well-being" and has been adopted by generations of Nordic people as a way to ward off the winter blues and slow down to embrace and cherish the joys of the cooler, darker season. Although it does not have a direct translation into English; it can be loosely translated as "coziness," although that does not capture the full meaning.

Some might describe Hygge as a way of being or an attitude that can be applied to all aspects of your life. It is a rich word to use when you want to do something fun, cozy, and satisfying with your people.

Using it in conversation you might say to your friend, “Would you like to do some hygge on Saturday?”
